Best Vegan meat replacement Ever!


Hey Guys!!!! I'm so excited to share this Recipe. I created this Cajun inspired plant based meat mixture because I was in the mood for Dirty Rice, plus it had to taste amazing and possibly even better then meat. "Versatility" I thought and whalah This baby was Born! this mixture can be used for stuffed peppers, Veggie Burgers, and Pizza night, literally a one stop shop. Trust! Well Here it is Guys I truly hope you enjoy it.;).


1 pound of impossible plant based meat

8oz of Lentils

1 cup of red quinoa

1/2 cup of finely chopped poblano

1/ 3 cup of finely chopped sweet onion

3 TBS of roasted garlic puree

1/4 cup chopped Calabrian chili

32oz Veggie stock

3 sprigs of thyme

1 tsp of granulated garlic

1/2 tsp Cumin

Kosher salt and Course ground black pepper to taste

1/4 cup avocado oil


Instructions



wash and rinse the lentils and set aside. bring 16oz of vegetable stock to boil and add lentils with 3 sprigs of thyme. reduce heat, cover and simmer. Cook until tender. Rinse quinoa and set aside. In a Dutch oven add avocado oil and heat until hot then Stir in onion ,poblano and Calabrian chilis. Saute for 1 minute, Add roasted garlic puree and cook for 2 additional minutes. Crumble the impossible meat into the pot and combine, Allow mixture to cook until the plant based meat is slightly browned, add spices. Finish by adding quinoa and and toasting for 1 minute and covering with the remining 16oz of vegetable stock. Reduce heat and cover. once Quinoa is cooked stir in cooked lentils and season mixture with additional salt and pepper to taste.


Allow mixture to cool enough to handle and use immediately, or cool and save for a delicious meat substitute in whatever deliciousness your taste buds can conjure up. Happy cooking!
